Applications for the 2027 Batavia Boardwalk Shops open October 1 and will be accepted through December 31. Now entering its eighth season, this Batavia MainStreet program provides entrepreneurs with the opportunity to launch, test, and grow their retail businesses while becoming part of a unique downtown shopping experience. 

We’re seeking makers, artists, home-based businesses, online retailers, startups, and established merchants interested in opening a second location, expanding their brand, or testing a new concept. We’re especially interested in businesses that complement our existing downtown retail mix and help fill gaps in our shopping offerings. 

Since launching in 2020, the Boardwalk Shops have helped dozens of small businesses take the next step in their entrepreneurial journey while bringing new energy, creativity, and unique shopping experiences to Downtown Batavia.
