Speaker Series May 21, 7-8:30 with Alison Branz, presenting, "Rethinking Lawns: An exploration of the ecology and the abundant options to fit your style.” Allison is a researcher at the Chicago Botanic Garden with the Rethinking Lawns team. Her research project measures the ecosystem benefits and the success rates of a wide range of lawn alternatives. With several experimental plantings across the Chicago area, she's collected a lot of data and learned more about what works as low-growing native options. Grab your ticket today!
