June 6-7 marks the 34th annual Chop Around the Clock. Foltos Tonsorial Parlor hosted the first Chop 36 years ago, we had two years of Covid “no chop.” The way I figure, this will be our 34th year of “chopping”.
We cut hair for 24 hours non-stop, (haircuts really aren’t that bad at 2 in the morning). We have a fantastic raffle, delicious free dinner, bake sale, musical entertainment, storytelling, face painting, and lots of love and laughter, and you don’t want to miss the ice cream eating contest. We have raised over $400,000 over the years. This event is all volunteer and we can not do this needed work without you. Whatever you can provide, even if it’s just a smile, we appreciate you. The Ronald McDonald House is a wonderful organization that provides thousands of meals, overnight stays and support all over our globe. Thank you again in any way you can help. We can’t wait to see you on Friday, June 6 from 4 pm till 4 pm on Saturday, June 7.
We need bakers, sandwich makers and eaters, entertainment, raffle prizes, ticket buyers and people to help set up and take down. We need you!
