Chili Cookoff, Sunday, November 12, 2-4! We had so much fun at the Salsa Competition, Cozy Sunday calls for a Chili Competition! This First Annual Chili Cook-off defines chili as any combination of meat, spices, seasonings, along with tomatoes, vegetables, beans and liquid. Vegetarian, white chili and any other combination is also acceptable. Whatever you call chili, we will call chili-- but it must be homemade! Participants are required to bring six quarts of their "best" chili in a crockpot, warm, between 12:00 and 1:00 pm on Sunday, November 12. SSB will provide extension cords, ladles, sampling cups and spoons. Please label your chili according to heat levels — medium, spicy, extra hot, etc. Judging will be based on guest judges' choice and also a people's choice. After the judging, any remaining chili will be served, first come, first served. $10 registration to enter chili and $5 to judge. All proceeds go to our neighbors in need!
