A Place for Us: A Musical Fundraiser to Support the “Becoming Neighbors” Work of Lumunos

Featuring Broadway songs sung by St. Charles Singers Karen Rockett, Marcus Jansen, Rachel Miller, and Stephen Uhl, Lumunos Director (and local Elvis performer) David Fraccaro…and a special, one time only performance by a few Study Shelter staff!

For the past few years, Lumunos has been partnering with Sturdy Shelter Brewing to hold Becoming Neighbors gatherings, where people of different cultures, faiths, nationalities, sexual orientations, ages, and even politics come to know and care about one another – recognizing that it isn’t the proximity of our homes, but the depths of our relationships that make us neighbors.  This fun and meaningful fundraiser will help us strengthen and expand this urgent work in Batavia and other communities across the nation.  As one recent participant shared – these are exactly the kind of gatherings the world needs right now.
