Community acupuncture differs from traditional private acupuncture in that it is administered in an open room group setting, there is no need to disrobe and points will be typically located on the arms, legs, feet, hands, head, face and/or ears. The major benefit to community acupuncture is the cost savings to allow patients to be able to utilize acupuncture therapy more frequently as it is intended for wellness and preventative health.
