Karaina Callahan is a self-taught embroidery artist living in Batavia, IL. She began her journey with needle and thread in 2019 and fell in love. As SageStitchCo, Karaina stitches everything from hilarious or poignant quotes, to botanicals, house portraits, business logos, pet portraits, and more. Karaina finds the medium therapeutic and powerful, especially when its historical legacy as “women's work” meets the voices and issues of today.
