DESCRIPTION:The Batavia Farmers' Market is held every Saturday from May 17 through October 25\, 2025 from 8:00am to 12:00pm on North River Street between Wilson and Spring Streets.  The Market features produce\, baked goods\, plants\, honey and related farm products. Our vendors must grow\, harvest and/or produce at least 75% of market products. \nFollow us on Instagram & Facebook for updates and the weekly vendor list. \nWe have carefully curated 50+ vendors weekly to provide you with a wide array of options. The market will move to Peg Bond Center later in the season on October 25\, 2025 from 10 am-2 pm. \n  \n  \n*Batavia MainStreet may periodically take photos and videos of individuals at our events. SUMMARY:Pottery Playdate - Parent/Guardian + Kid(s)!
DESCRIPTION:Come make messy memories with your littles! This workshop is intended for a minimum of 1 adult and 1 child with the option to add on additional adults and children. Each person will be provided with 1 pound of clay to build and paint a clay creation! The minimum age for attending children is 3. Your instructor will help guide you through hand-building techniques and assist when needed. Adults can bond with their littles as they assist them with their projects. Make separate projects or work on one together! Projects examples will be provided\, but imagination and free styling are welcome and encouraged! This is a 1 1/2-2 hour workshop with minimal clean up from participants required. At the end of your playdate\, each person will get to choose a creation to have fired. (Pottery will need to be glazed and fired. Check out our One Day Wheel Throwing workshops! \nThis 2 1/2hr workshop focuses on one specific skill - Creating Underglaze Transfers! Learn how to design\, layer\, and create your own underglaze decals. Apply your decals to a provided pot to level up your surface decorating game! Are you a potter already? Feel free to bring in a piece of your own work to apply your decals to (leather hard recommended.) At the end of the session\, your piece will get clear glazed and fired. (Pottery will need to be glazed and fired.
