Choose a date below to reserve your spot for an awesome date night full of new experiences\, good vibes\, and laughter. \nREGISTRATION IS FOR 2 PEOPLE - PLEASE ONLY SELECT 1 QTY AT CHECKOUT (unless you're signing up 2 couples\, then select 2 etc.) \nTHROWING: Learn the basics of throwing together and make your own bowl\, cup\, shot glass for home! Spice things up by challenging your partner to a (friendly) throwing competition! (Each person will be able to select 2 of their pieces for firing)  \nAddress: Thrown Threads 125 S. Batavia Ave\, Batavia\, IL 60510 \n*Once you finish your pieces\, they will be clear glazed with food safe glaze & fired in our off-site kiln. Pickup will be coordinated when they are ready! Clothes required unless you're Patrick Swayze. Ages 18+  \nCancelations & Refunds: Due to limited space\, workshops are non-refundable. Workshops can be rescheduled for free up to 2 weeks/14 days prior to your workshop. Any requests to reschedule within 14 days will require a $15 rescheduling fee. Rescheduling requests must be made prior to your workshop time. Email dirtyclayco@gmail.com with any requests. \nPrice increases from $120 to $130 starting Feb 1st 2025. SUMMARY:Wooden Loom Weaving Workshop
DESCRIPTION:A one-day workshop where the wooden loom will be warped for you so all you have to do is fill up your warp cords with beautiful fibers that you choose. You will learn different weaving techniques like Tabby weave\, Rya Knots\, Twining\, how to build your fringe\, and how to use wool roving. At the end of class your weave will stay with me\, and I will remove it from your loom and attach it to a wooden dowel rod. Your weave will be ready for pick up 1 to 2 days after class. You can BYOB. If you would like\, you can upgrade your wooden dowel rod to a piece of Cholla for $10.00. If weaving is something you fall in love with\, my weaving kits are available for purchase. Normally $85.00\, they go down to $70.00. What's included in the kit? You get a wooden frame loom\, warp cord\, weaving wooden comb\, wooden needle\, large eye metal needle\, shuttle\, scissors\, heddle for double warping your loom\, and finally a carrying bag so you can take your loom on the go! Let's weave something BEAUTIFUL!!
