Batavia Farmers' Market - 2026 Vendor Application

 

The mission of the Batavia Farmers’ Market is to celebrate small-town values, boost the local economy, and create a community-focused social destination.  This Market features produce, baked goods, artisan products, plants, honey and related farm products. Our vendors must grow, harvest and/or produce at least 75% of market products. 

 

Direct sale and MLM vendors are not eligible to participate in the market.

 

Artists, crafters, makers and vintage sellers should apply to the Artisan Collective.

  

 

Who can Sell?

 

Farm Products

  • Produce: fruits, vegetables, herbs, mushrooms, grains, edible plants
  • Meat, Cheese, Egg, Fish: raw/frozen meats, dairy, eggs, cured meats
  • Flowers: bedding plants, nursery stock, fresh/dried flowers

 

Food & Beverages

  • Processed Foods : baked goods, chocolates, pasta, preserves, jams, pickles, juices, honey
  • Ready-To-Eat Foods/Prepared Foods: meals, soups, sandwiches, ice cream
  • Beverages: coffee, tea, juices

 

Other Vendors:

  • Case-by-case approval for atypical products

 

The Batavia Farmers' Market and Batavia MainStreet reserves the right to approve, disapprove, or dismiss any vendor at its discretion.  Priority will be given to past vendors.

2026 Farmers' Market Information

 

Market Dates: 

Saturday Mornings - 8am-12pm - May 16 thru October 24, 2026

Wednesday Evenings - 5-8pm on select Wednesdays: June 10, 17, 24, July 1, 15, 22, 29, and August 5, 2026

 

Booth Space Options:

  • Single - 10' x 10' booth space
  • Double - 20' x 10' booth space (available only on Saturday Mornings)
  • Triple - 30' x 10' booth space (available only on Saturday Mornings)

Vendors are responsible for bringing their own tent, tent weights, table and chair.

 

Vendor Fees:

Saturday Mornings

  • Single booth - $450 Full Season - 24 Weeks
  • Single booth - $35 per week
  • Double booth - $675
  • Triple booth - $900

Electric Access - $175 Full Season (limited spaces available)

 

Wednesday Evenings

  • Single booth - $120 Full Season - 8 Weeks
  • Single booth - $25 per week

Electric Access - NOT AVAILABLE AT THE WEDNESDAY EVENING FARMERS' MARKET


Description of Products


Our vendors must grow, harvest and/or produce at least 75% of market products.  Vendors are only permitted to sell items that the Market Coordinator, Committee and/or Executive Director have approved.  No unwholesome or spoiled articles may be offered for sale. 


Market Dates

 

Saturday Morning

  • Market hours are 8:00 am - 12:00 pm.  Market setup begins at 6:00 am. 
  • Please check all dates you are applying for.  We ask that you sign up for all market dates at the beginning of the season. 
  • Priority will be given to vendors who apply to participate in the full market season. 
  • Vendors who would like to attend every other week or once a month will be considered. 
  • Vendors are responsible for their own setup and tear down.  

 

Wednesday Evening

  • Market hours are 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm.  Market setup begins at 4:00 pm.
  • Priority will be given to vendors who apply to participate in the full market season. 
  • Vendors are responsible for their own setup and tear down.

Vendor Acceptance

First round applications are due by March 2.  Acceptance notification and invoices will be sent to selected vendors by March 31, 2026 (for Saturday am market) or April 30 (for Wednesday pm market).  Vendor fees must be paid in full by invoice date. 

If your application is accepted, there will not be refunds for ANY reason.  Please think of your booth fee as a donation to Batavia MainStreet. 


Application Fee

A $10 fee is due at the time of application.

There will not be refunds for any reason.  All fees collected goes towards further MainStreet events and programs.
