Batavia Indoor Market - 2024-25 Vendor Application

The purpose of the Batavia Indoor Market is to provide a retail outlet for local producers; fresh, local products for consumers; and a gathering place that encourages a sense of community. This Market features produce, baked goods, plants, honey and related farm products. Our vendors must grow, harvest, and/or produce at least 75% of market products.

Application deadline is September 25, 2024.

The Batavia Farmers' Market and Batavia MainStreet reserves the right to approve, disapprove or dismiss any vendor at its discretion. Priority will be given to past vendors.

Saturdays - November 2, 2024 thru May 10, 2025. (28 weeks)

Indoor Market Location:

Grainology BrewStillery (131 Flinn Street - Suite C, Batavia, IL 60510)

Indoor Market Hours:

9:00 am - 12:00 pm. Market setup begins at 8:00 am.

Vendors are responsible for their own setup and tear down.

The following types of vendors are allowed at the market:

FARM - PRODUCE - Including: raw vegetables and fruits, cut, washed and unwashed bagged vegetables, mushrooms, edible plants, garlic, grains, and herbs.

FARM - MEAT, CHEESE, EGG, FISH - Including: raw and frozen meats (beef, lamb, mutton, pork, goat); raw and frozen poultry; raw and frozen game bird and rabbit; raw and frozen fish; fluid milk, fresh dairy products, eggs, cheese, cured meat and sausage.

FARM - FLOWER - Including: bedding plants and nursery stock, fresh cut flowers, and dried flowers.

PROCESSED FOODS - Including baked goods (breads, pastries, cookies, cakes, pies), chocolates, fresh pasta, preserves, fruit syrups, jellies, jams, herbal or vegetable spreads, pickles or herbal vinegars, herb or spice blends, juice, cider, and apiary products (honey).

PREPARED FOODS - Including: soups, frozen meals and pasta.

BEVERAGES - Including coffee beans, teas, and juices.

OTHER - The market will authorize vendors offering atypical goods or services on a case-by-case basis.

The following types of vendors are NOT allowed at the market:

READY-TO-EAT FOODS - Do not complete this application. We are not accepting applications for hot or ready-to-eat food vendors for the Indoor Market.

ARTIST, CRAFTER, MAKER, VINTAGE SELLER - Do not complete this application. Email info@downtownbatavia.com to be added to our mailing list and we'll notify you when applications are being accepted for the 2025 Artisan Collective.

DIRECT SALE and MLM VENDORS are not eligible to participate in the market.

Description of Products to be Sold - Vendors are only permitted to sell items that the Market Coordinator, Committee and/or Executive Director have approved. No unwholesome or spoiled articles may be offered for sale.

Market Dates

Priority will be given to vendors who apply to participate in the full market season. Vendors who would like to attend every other week will be considered.

Vendor Fees

Single Booth - $475 Full Season (28 weeks)

Single Booth - $275 Every Other Week (14 weeks)

Double Booth - $900 Full Season (28 weeks)

For most booth locations, you are responsible for bringing your own table, chair, etc.

Vendor Acceptance

Acceptance notification and invoices will be sent to selected vendors by October 1, 2024. Additional applications will be reviewed following October 1 if space remains available. Vendor fees must be paid in full by invoice date.

If your application is accepted, there will not be refunds for ANY reason. Please think of your booth fee as a donation to Batavia MainStreet.

Application Fee

A $10 fee is due at the time of application.

If your application is accepted, you will receive an invoice for the event. There will not be refunds for any reason. All fees collected goes toward further MainStreet events and programs.
