The city is celebrating our moment in time Labor Day weekend (August 30-September 1) with a “Peek into the Past” Expo, Half Marathon http://www.halfmadness.com/ , Community Church Service, Historical Play, Community Picnic with games and contests and downtown fireworks. Don’t miss the Duck Derby on Saturday August 30th at 3 pm and Bridge Bash from 4:30 – 9 pm and fireworks shot off at Clark Island at 9. The Wilson Street bridge will be closed to traffic from 3:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Sunday August 31st for the bridge dedication and Bridge Bash celebration. Make plans to come join us!
